Big shot

today i worked a little, went snowboarding, watched the burton park jam and some guys build a kicker. i also went to a hockey match and am now too dunk to type coherently, (THIS is takiing alot of effort.) so it one pic for now. enjoy,,,:D

Not alot to really update you on, its still gloriously sunny, Im still working alot and snowboarding more so today im just gonna give you a few pics Ive taken for you to have a ganders at. Perhaps tomorrow ill do something worth chatting about :P until then.

 

 

 

 

Let Down

I check the delivery status of my boots, I found they are here, its like christmas im all excited, get them outta the box, the look amazing start unlacing them and read US9. fuck, they sent me the wrong damn size! So after having waited four days for them I had to waste my day emailing them and trying to get them mailed back so they would send the right size out! So a post office trip was involved fun! As I speak franglais, well I might add, trying to mail them on recorded delivery was an interesting task, the woman spoke as much english as I did french. However, in the end, they are going somewhere and some new ones are on there way. least I assume so, DHL have yet to email me a tracking no, be checking on that in the morning and i can almost garuantee I wont see the right pair until tuesday. So needless to say, my day was wasted and I got nothing from it, other then temporily being 30 euros poorer. what a bitch.

Good job I was out yesterday otherwise the only picture I'd have to share would be the damn french mail receipt I had to email to the store that cocked up. 

As I was on the long run home again where I took that awesome picture a week ago or so. You blatantly know the one as its actually good! I tried to take another from a different location, not as good due to lens flare, but I like it nonetheless!

Also check out this guys job! shovelling snow off a roof. he may of started from the outside, I definitely would of worked my way through the top peak of the roof as that could slide off at any moment, clearly wouldnt but you know, and at least then you could actually try and push it off for a mini Avi, far easier.

Lets Get Loud

I have literally less than 5 mintues to write this blog, get changed and leave to meet people. fuuuuuuck. So here is Mont Blonc/Blanc from the top of Mont Chery, check out the random cloud above it, the only one in the sky today and if you look hard enough it either is in the shape of a mountain or reflects it, pretty weird!

 

Oh holy hell I did a black run yesterday, not for snowboarders really as its mogul hell generally, as was the one I did was. Bumpy as a face of an adolescent teen. Crazy stuff, good fun though but my god it was a challenge, thanfully it was powder but getting a turn in was difficult  near damn impossible, even Susie struggled.

One(sie) Love

So as you do with when your pissed with your mates and someone gives you all a onesie to wear, you take it and bloody own it! As such here is me pulling off a onesie, oh hell yes! retro to max.

So yeah, did some work, rode abit, had a few drinks, that was yesterday! today was spent up in Mont Chery, my playground, it may be small in comparrison to everywhere else but it consistently has the best snow and its quiet! with a park! what more could I want..

well my boots to arrive for one so I can spend what little money I have on new binding so I can finally ride my new board, hurrah! and according to DHL, theyre currently chilling in Lyon...Tomorrow delivery perhaps?

The Fortunate

 

This is roughly, the amount of snow that has fallen in the last month, thats about 6 foot. So pretty good but tons more to come :D

It was changeover day today as all the guests have now left so I didnt get up again. However, there is only 5 guests in total over the next 3 days so I got the late afternoon/ evening off! which is perfect as the afternoon was spent in the Jacuzzi again haha and tonight will soon be spent in Bar Rob drinking Mutzig with a friend who is out for the week. Sorted :D

Short and sweet update Eh.  OOH! keep forgetting this but found a pair of Scott goggles the other day, nice and pricey those, what a find! That and my new snowboard boots arrive on thursday, cannot freaking wait, comfort is coming!

Open up your eyes

So today was a rest day, a much needed one at that so the entire day was spent watching the O'neill Evolution highlights (check out, http://www.oneill.com/evolution/videos.html) and the Nitro movie "what goes up must come down" as its sheer class :D

So yeah not alot to tell you really, its a boring one in regards to updates, though having spent the afternoon in the jacuzzi (great for the injury recovery! feel brand new!) looking up at the mountains I did have to question my sanity of going to uni....though that said wouldnt of met the great people I have so :P

Nonetheless I have picture for you, it is the view from the chalet however the actual focul point is just how low are the clouds?! the second floor here was level, if not above them.
